“Aenarete has been working for e-kite since autumn 2016 and their support has been very valuable. They played a key role in successfully implementing and testing our patented launch and land system, which can stably operate even in strong wind conditions. This was very important to us, as this system provides e-kite with a key differentiator versus competing airborne wind energy start-ups.
Following this, aenarete supported e-kite in adapting the control system to a much larger, efficient wing and subsequently to our new single-tether ground station concept. Furthermore, they have developed a combined copter, wing and tether model, which allows us to find optimal control parameters in turbulent and gusty wind conditions.
